American Ultra, Adventureland
Been AWOL for a while, but today I watched American Ultra and Adventureland. Jesse and Kristen are both amazing actors, and they have really good chemistry together.
While I find both movies solid and had fun watching them, I want to share something about the latter, in addition to my short Letterboxd note.
I would have liked it if the film ended with James (Jesse Eisenberg) getting on the bus or coming to NYC—an ambiguous ending. While it was good to know that they reconnected and the note about his undergrad studies, I’ll repeat it: it would have been better with an ambiguous ending. That's my thought.

P.S.: I also bought a guitar last week and have been trying to learn it for a few days. I hope I don't quit like I did with other instruments I've bought and tried to learn in the past. I do have a good feeling about this. Let's see...
