A few seconds earlier, I read a post here about how friendships should feel easy.

The post talks about how we don’t pretend to be something we’re not when we’re with some “friends.” That’s not the case with me. As soon as I finished reading it, I found myself in a dilemma.

I’m not in touch with almost everyone I know — friends, family, relatives — but I don’t regret it. Choosing not to be in touch is my choice, but it does bring some drawbacks, such as the loss of bond, connection, and trust. While I trust the people I call “friends,” the bigger question is whether or not they trust me. Do they know who I am, what I feel, and where I come from?

cheers,
